I recently had the same issue.
Additionally, when dragging the file, the list of subdirectories popped up (the
one that appears when clicking in a subdirectory name, to select another). But
of course I didn't click anything, as I was holding the button down while
dragging the file.

Thanks for the report. If you can reproduce the crash, please install debug
symbols and attach again the bracktrace. A valgrind log could also help, see
