https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=412872 fzhzhen changed: What|Removed |Added Version|5.62.0 |5.66.0 CC||blfmy...@yahoo.co.jp --- Comment #2 from fzhzhen --- I have met the same bug i think. KDE becomes unresponsive after connecting a USB-mouse. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.5-1 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.66.0-1 Qt Version: 5.14.0-1 Kernel Version: 5.4.13-arch1-1 OS Type: 64-bit Processors: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz Memory: 15.6 GiB of RAM Laptop model: thinkpad x1carbon 2017 gen 5th KDE becomes unresponsive after connecting a usb-mouse. This unresponsive last for several minutes and freeze the whole desktop. In general it takes around 5 upto 15 minutes until KDE continues to operate as usually. During this period, the CPU load jumps to 4 and at least one core is at 100%. By the way,i had changed the key binding,Ctrl to CapsLock, using .Xmodmap file. Sometimes, the keybinding is becoming invalid, when i insert usb-mouse. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Log in KDE desktop 2. Insert a USB-mouse.
