Steps to reproduce (apps used: okular 1.6.3 and libreoffice writer 6.2.2): 1. have an odt file in your home 2. add "folder view" widget to your desktop 3. open the settings of the "folder view" widget, set your home as location, apply the setting 4. open dolphin, select your odt file located in home, press alt+enter to open its properties 5. click "File type options" button 6. move another app to top of the prefered apps list and apply the setting 7. double click your odf file in Dolphin: as expected, odt file opens with the app moved to top of the prefered apps list in the previous step 8. now open the same odt file via "folder view" widget added to your desktop Result: odf file opens with another app, not the app moved to top of the prefered apps list in the step 6 Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.56.0 Qt Version: 5.12.2 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
