Since KCursor sets the blank cursor using Qt's QCursor class, the bug would be
either in the video drivers, or in the Qt libary.

I suggest to report it to the developers of your video drivers. Please ask for
help in a forum of your distribution.

KCursor simply does a "setCursor(QCursor(Qt::BlankCursor))". If this causes
screens to flicker, I would say the bug is in the video drivers. Can you
reproduce it on another system with different video drivers?
