[kate] [Bug 438872] End line to have a predictable behavior
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=438872 --- Comment #3 from Alberto Salvia Novella --- Neither Github, Gitlab or most editors on Linux do this the other way. It's quite surprising to code something just to see it with different spaces in almost everything else. This reason alone is enough for me not to use Kate. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kate] [Bug 438872] End line to have a predictable behavior
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=438872 --- Comment #2 from Christoph Cullmann --- I meant naturally "two" new line characters ;=) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kate] [Bug 438872] End line to have a predictable behavior
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=438872 Christoph Cullmann changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|--- |NOT A BUG CC||cullm...@kde.org Status|REPORTED|RESOLVED --- Comment #1 from Christoph Cullmann --- That is not correct, this file ends with too new line characters. e.g. Atom shows 5 lines here, too. Same for VSCode That other editors handle this differently is correct. But there is no reason to change how we do this, given we are not "alone" here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
