So you don't actually want to adjust the gamma but rather the colors on the screen. This is an interesting use case but super niche, given the presence of an officially supported solution--which is to color-calibrate both screens so they display output that's as close as possible. As such I'm afraid we won't be able to officially support the request. That won't correct color related issues, just brightness-related issues. The best way to ensure that the two screens display the same thing is to color-calibrate both of them. I screen cast my iPad to my external monitor via the Linux utility Uxplay. I do this for art projects using Procreate ($12.99). There are differences between what the iPad shows me and the big screen display of it as I work. The two screens MUST be as close as possible in appearance. Often this requires frequent minute adjustments on the fly.
