Your test project with the 2 titles is working correctly with version 20.12.2.

Feel free to reopen this bug or create a new report if this is still happening
with the latest version (https://kdenlive.org/en/download/)

Confirmed. Are the titles made in kdenlive 0.8.2.1? With new titles created in
19.08.1 fade to black works.

Created attachment 122692
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=122692=edit
test project with fade out bug

Hi,
I have made new tests and indeed, the bug does not occurs on a new project.
But if you could look at the attachment, a very simple project, you can see
that the bug is still there.

It's a 2011 project I created with kdenlive 0.8.2.1.
Then I tried to open it with kdenlive 19.08.0 but kdenlive crashed every time I
tried to open it. So I migrated to kdenlive 16.04 then to 19.08.
Now I am currently on 19.08.1 the latest build on KDE neon.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Play it: every fade to black fails
2. Reduce a clip under 6 seconds: fade to black works

Sorry I didn't tried with the last appimage.
I spent many hours in this project (attachment is a minimal reduction version)
and I want to work again on it, but the bug is still there.

Thanks again for your work. Still considering kdenlive as the best :)

Tested with 19.08.0 on Windows and Linux (AppImage). Fade to black keeps the
lenght when stretching the clip.

Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 19.08.0a to see if there
are any packaging issues https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/

If the problem/issue doesn't occur when using the AppImage, then it's your
configuration or packaging.

Hi,
I'm sad to say that this very annoying bug is back again!
I'm using 19.08.0 on the last KDE neon, all updates installed.

This bug was fixed before (see #363538) and has reappeared recently.

Please fix this and thank you for your incredible work on this awesome
software.

Please try with the actual Kdenlive AppImage version 18.08.2
Run the Appimage from the terminal (press CTRL + ALT + T). Move to the AppImage
folder and run the .AppImage: ./Kdenlive*.AppImage
