            Bug ID: 454420
Summary: Crashes When Trying to play video project on Fedora 36
           Product: kdenlive
           Version: 22.04.1
          Platform: Flatpak
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: critical
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Video Display & Export
          Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org
          Reporter: aaron.lf...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

I can upload a video clip, and cut the video. However, once I try to play the
any video clip I've edited the application crashes. I can render a video clip
without playing it, but it is moot as I cannot play my video to ensure edits
were done correctly.

Playing any video in Kdenlive would cause it to crash.

***
Backtrace is not working and keeps crashing and unable to compile report.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Recently upgraded from Fedora 35 to (now currently on) Fedora 36.

I'm using the stable flatpack (and always have)

I was having this issued on Fedora 35: I couldn't do anything in the
application; it would just crash on start.

When upgrading to Fedora 36, I was actually able to get somewhere; I could
upload a video clip and actually cut some of it and render the clip. The
problem of crashing ensued when I would play the clip.

Just playing any video in Kdenlive would cause it to crash.

Back to the issue with Kdenlive:

I cannot "Report a Problem" when Kdenlive crashes, as I keep getting
"Processing failed" on Fedora

the log shows the following:

--- Running report uReport ---

Error: No segments dound in coredump './coredump'

('report_ureport' exitd with 1)
