[kid3] [Bug 431971] right hand pane disappears when fiddling with dragging the window frame.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=431971 --- Comment #3 from Mark Wigzell --- Hi Urs, well, maybe it was as you described, and I didn't notice the cursor left/right arrows when hovering over the window frame. So lets say "yes, you can recover from it". Still, would be nice to have a way to "reset" the default layout from the menu system. This way dolts like me can find an alternate way to "fix" than to remove the configuration file. At any rate, let me compliment you on a great application, I used it to tag about 2000 CDs, it is a great tool. --Mark On Fri, Jan 22, 2021 at 10:51 PM Urs Fleisch wrote: > https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=431971 > > --- Comment #2 from Urs Fleisch --- > I am not able to reproduce this. [kid3] [Bug 431971] right hand pane disappears when fiddling with dragging the window frame.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=431971 --- Comment #2 from Urs Fleisch --- I am not able to reproduce this. There is a splitter between the left and right hand panes, and you can drag its handle even after having it pulled as far to the right as possible. In this case it is not so easy to get the handle, but (as far as I can see on KDE) there is a different mouse cursor when hovering over the window frame (a dot with left and right arrows) and when hovering over the splitter handle (a dot with left and right arrows), so it should be possible to recover from such a situation without editing or deleting the configuration file. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=431971 --- Comment #1 from Mark Wigzell --- Perhaps a mention in the manual about where is the config file and how to clear it to defaults. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
