Can you please confirm if this is now working for you or if further investigation is required, thanks. (In reply to Allen W. Jones --- kmenuedit version 5.5.5 KDE Frameworks 5.18.0 Qt 5.5.1 (built against 5.5.1) The xcb windowing system I can sort some items, such as under submenus; but the top level items are sort enforced to alphabetic.
