Can you change this bug to a wishlist?

I suppose KMM coulod create such a transaction - sort of a variant on
reconciliation - put in the actual current balance, and KMM creates an expense
or income transaction to make it so.  Without actually creating that
transaction, however, the stated expenses could only be cumulative since the
oldest of the most recent transactions in any of the referenced accounts.

True, but I do not want to calculate the size of expense manually. I want just
to enter the new balance and expenses be calculated automatically.

If you create an account for your cash, then even if you only make one
transaction a month to a general "expense" category, the balances should match,
and a standard income/expense report should work for you.
