1) dear Cristoph Feck, would you be so kind to explain how can the bug reported
in 2012 with long discussion history be a duplicate of bug reported in 2016
with a single "me too" comment? Wouldn't you mean the opposite assignment (that
bug as duplicate of this)?

2) Despite airplane icon (at least with my font) don't mess the things in
modern Konsole (16.12.3) as for reporter, it is a very big bunch of characters
(say, emojis, for example, or some other "icons") that mess up the things and
makes inline navigation impossible.

The original bug as reported is fixed for me in Konsole 4:16.08.2-2 on the
current Debian testing release as of today.

This is probably because Unicode 9 included fixes to mark many of these
characters as EAST ASIAN WIDE, & a conforming fixed width terminal will render
these as taking up the space of two ordinary characters.
