Somehow, I missed that my local konsole binary was from master, not from the package, which made me think it was distro update that fixed it. Apparently I moved built konsole into /usr/bin after a fix I sent a week ago, so I could immediately use it. However, it behaves odd there: after following the steps-to-reproduce, it keeps showing the same frame of text, it's only the slider that falls down. Just wanted to tell that it's not, it's a real deal, because when I work with code, I need to see the output of Konsole and the text editor on different screens.
