My images are in png and i'm trying to render it to a .mp4 video.
I can see the frames when i'm in krita but the rendered video is pure black.

What format is your image exactly? What format are you rendering the frames to?
Are the frames themselves visible? ffmpeg can only with with 8 bit/channel png
images.
