Then I'm completely puzzled as to what might've happened... Could you attach
the original kritarc file to the bug?

Great! I had to do was rename the file Kritarc and reinstall Krita. Now
everything works as before. Thank you very much!!!

Um... That's seldom a good idea. But in that case, create a new user account,
and check whether that user has the same problem as well. Or you could try to
reset Krita's settings
(https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html#resetting-krita-configuration) -- but
that's a very long shot because there's absolutely nothing in Krita itself that
could cause this behaviour. It must be something to do with your system.

Thanks for your comment!

Automatically switching the status of this bug to REPORTED so that the KDE team
knows that the bug is ready to get confirmed.

In the future you may also do this yourself when providing needed information.

First try to run Krita as administrator, and see whether that makes a
difference.

Hi,

I did it, I disabled Malware Byte and Avast ... Nothing! Unfortunately the
problem persists. I think I will be able to format the pc.

Hi Andrea, check that you don't have any third-party "security" software
installed that might interfere with Krita, like sandboxie.
