Bug ID: 437338 Summary: Refresh Rate affecting Performance Product: krita Version: 4.4.2 Platform: Microsoft Windows OS: Microsoft Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: Usability Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: icesag...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Dual monitor setup with both at 1440p. One monitor is 165hz(displayport) while second monitor is 60hz(hdmi). Krita works perfectly on second monitor. When moved to main and physically larger monitor performance reduces drastically. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have two monitors, one freesync at 165hz one standard at 59/60 2. Move between monitors 3. Try to draw OBSERVED RESULT Effect on precision shown here https://i.imgur.com/KXouic6.png , drawn with a mouse at the same speed for consistency. Only difference is program moved between monitors. Notice the sharp edges when drawing and writing on the main monitor. Those show the lag spikes where the program waits to catch up. This happens with Open GL as well as DX11. EXPECTED RESULT No change in performance. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 120.2212.31.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION DXDIAG is here. https://pastebin.com/ifJbFwkP -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
