https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=475438 --- Comment #2 from acc4commissi...@gmail.com --- I think the part of the problem is, in 5.2, the selected frame can be misaligned with where you selected in the timeline, whereas it seems always matched in 5.1.5.
