            Bug ID: 467947
Summary: Display ksplash when waking from suspend?
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: ksplash
           Version: git-stable-Plasma/5.27
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: amanita+kdeb...@mailbox.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
I had my laptop deep sleep and got a black screen when waking it up again. This
looked a bit concerning. If not even the screen locker is loaded, could ksplash
be used to bridge that waiting time and make it look more "we have everything
under control" ?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Let your laptop deep sleep
2. Turn it on again
3. wait until the screenlocker appears

OBSERVED RESULT
The laptop has a black screen for quite a while

EXPECTED RESULT
Ksplash could show here, but only if its an overlay and not a process that
prolongs other processes.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Fedora 37
KDE Plasma 2.57.3
KDE Frameworks: 5.104.0
Qt: 5.15.8
