Please check if you can reproduce this with KStars 2.8.3 as I cannot reproduce
it here. Reopen bug if you still have the same issue.

Yes it's possible. I launched an automatic sequence which contains an
astrometry process. I was moving the planetarium in kstars to show where my
scope was pointing and the kde crash messagebox appeared.

Backtrace shows you were trying to solve an image using the online solver?
