Plasma is an open source project with mostly volunteers. Therefore, unfortunately, we don't have the resources to check into issues of older versions, if they are fixed in the current release. We barely have the resources to take care to the issues reported against the current version. You are, of course, welcome to have a look at the src yourself, if you want to know. You can see all changes made to the src in git.
