I have found that pressing ctrl+alt+F1 during a slow shutdown causes the system to immediately continue shutting down normally. In arch u have a command called as journalctl which gives u a log when u shutdown your pc and if anything goes wrong, one can always understand what went wrong by looking at the log. As the log says that systemd is not able to kill the kwin which means something is wrong with it.
