With some windows it is not easy to see that they "fall off" the edge of the screen, so I end up having to blindly maximize them to make sure. Just a few comments: - This is not exclusive to vertically maximized windows. I can reproduce it with dolphin, which I have maximized horizontally. - In my opinion, this is MORE SEVERE than it seems. What I'm encountering is the opposite situation to what the original report describes: I normally work on a 1920x1080p external monitor, buy when I unplug it and switch to my 1366x768p laptop screen, maximized windows are actually larger than my screen. Since this also happens with horizontally maximized windows (see previous comment), the window controls are out of reach!
