- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Booting the machine
- Unusual behavior I noticed:
The machine boots. But graphical logon display managers SDDM and LightDm fail.
XDM seems to work, however.
Command line logon is successful. But GUI fails at bootsplash, first the
bootsplash segfaults and immediately afterward Kwin segfaults.
- Custom settings of the application:
There are really no custom setting issues. The problem is directly related to
the firmware. If I remove the package, the system boots fine. If I reinstall
it the same behavior occurs. Without the firmware, the video acceleration for
my gpu is disabled. So I'd like to have it working
The crash can be reproduced every time.
