Then to allow window-edge-binding, that ought to also be done in the tile-editor whereby you CTRL-click-(bind/group) each window you want bound together. Ah sorry I think there are two different things mentioned in this bug report -- there is resizing affecting both windows on a single desktop, and resizing affecting all quick tiled windows on all desktops.
