            Bug ID: 436635
Summary: nm-applet AGAIN "shows absurdedly high speeds on first
                    update" for WiFi
           Product: plasma-nm
           Version: master
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: applet
          Assignee: jgrul...@redhat.com
          Reporter: psamar...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
Opening the Network applet’s speed graph AGAIN shows absurdly high speeds after
initial applet show-up.
It was supposed to have been fixed with
https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-nm/-/commit/30b4a718404a4a6c06fe903cba09ca702175a78c

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click on network applet on plasma panel system tray
2. Click on active wifi network
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
An initial extreme spike of the graph at speeds over 10ths of MBs, while my
line's max speed is 800kbps. After the instant spike, the graph shows expected
values, but they are almost invisible at the lowest rate, having to keep the
applet open for several seconds, for the graph to come sane.

EXPECTED RESULT
The network speed graph shows real/correct speed values, (even a small initial
delay is prefered)
