Funny, now with Phonon Gstreamer I get no notification sounds at all,
regardless of what I put in the settings.

I'm using Phonon VLC backend. I have libvlc 3.0.1 installed (libvlc-bin,
libvlc-dev, libvlc5, libvlccore9), although in the settings (Multimedia ->
Audio and Video -> Backend) it says Phonon VLC 0.9.1.

It only works with gstreamer and vlc (with libvlc 3.0) phonon backends.
