https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=365359

I don't know exactly what fixed it, but I had Plasma 5.7.2 + KDE Frameworks
5.24+git20160712 and problem was gone. When I downgraded Frameworks to pure
5.24 icons are missing.

Unfortunately, Chromium and Slack icons are still missing for me with Plasma
5.7.2 (latest KDE Neon user). I've tried both with and without sni-qt, but
neither work.

Looks that in Plasma 5.7.2 problem is fixed. Icon for Rocket.Chat+ is rendering
correctly. Also Skype with and without sni is working correctly.

I can confirm. Icon is missing for "external" apps like Skype or Rocket.Chat+.
After uninstalling sni-qt and sni-qt:i386 Skype icon is rendered correctly but
Rocket.Chat+ icon is still missing.

I'm using Neon User 5.7
