Hello. I am the author of the original Plasma 4 version. Unfortunately, I have
not had time to devote to a Plasma 5 port, but the code is available on GitHub
and I would certainly welcome contributions there.

Thank you for your attention and for the quick response from you.
I accessed the project forum "socketsentry"
 and I sent a message to
Rob Hasselbaum, which seems to be the package developer. I asked him if there
are plans to update the software socketsentry for Plasma 5. The last movement
of that forum is the year 2011, I hope Rob is still working on this project.
