How about another version of system tray, where all elements displayed on
panel?
Like Application Launcher. We have three options there, named as
"Alternatives".
It was added to satisfy different users taste (personally I prefer Dash).
Why not to add alternative "classic system tray" with same purpose? :)

P.S. Sorry, did not get "people can't find their code". In what sense? My
English is far from perfect...

Thanks for the suggestion but it's too niche of an option to add this and it
creates some usability problems when people can't find their code.
