Hi, yes, I'm with you (@Nate).

Thanks for the improvement (done in
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=376848), but it really seems not to be
enough.

Just put eg. a photo on the Desktop, put Dolphin (file manager) aside and
compare both results. The thumbails in Dolphin look pretty (smooth and sharp). 

Instead, on the desktop (folder view), they look kind of blurred (and make me
think that I need new glasses ;-) ).
