On the lock screen after some idle time (~10 seconds) all controls are hidden, except for the date and time. But on the login screen after some idle time (~50 seconds) all controls are hidden, including the date and time. The lack of a "Desktop Session" chooser in the lock screen is intentional; you can't change the session without logging out. So the only remaining differences appear to be the following: - The power/session actions row is a bit farther down in the login screen than it is in the lock screen - There's no virtual keyboard option on the login screen - The keyboard layout chooser is a combobox on the login screen, but a toggle button on the lock screen - The user avatar is bigger inside its circle on the login screen Those seem reasonable to fix. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
