You need to run it on an already existing X instance. What you need to do is debug your errors on boot, which are unlikely to be related to KDE at all. Yesterday I updated my system with `sudo pacman -Syyu` and today it just freezes the screen . If I try to launch plasmashell through tty2 it says this: ``` qt.qpa.xcb: could not connect to display qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
