Bug ID: 486603 Summary: Resizing certain windows after they have been demaximized by holding the title bar results in improperly sized windows. Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: 6.0.4 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: sirmr...@0000067.xyz CC: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 169203 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=169203&action=edit video of bug using konsole as an example SUMMARY Maximizing certain windows, closing the window, removing the windows maximization, then resizing the window results in the window becoming the wrong size. The problem occurs both with and without wobbly windows. Video example attached. I personally tested Discover, Konsole, Dolphin, Elisia, Thunderbird, and Element. Out of these, only Konsole, Dolphin, and Element were affected. Elisa and Discover seemed to forget that they were maximized when last closed. Thunderbird seemed to be unaffected. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open an affected application. 2. Maximize the applications window. 3. Close the window while it is still maximized. 4. Reopen the application. 5. Return the window to its previous size by holding the title bar and dragging it down. 6. Grab the bottom or side of the window to resize it. OBSERVED RESULT Window is sized incorrectly because of not grabbed side moving. EXPECTED RESULT Side that is not grabbed does not move. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora Kionite 40 KDE Plasma Version: 6.04 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.10 Qt Version: 6.7.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Using Nvida 550.76 and wayland. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
