I just uninstalled Deepin Desktop Environment
I then re-booted the PC - same issue
I then remove ALL packages with the text deepin using the terminal command
sudo zypper remove deepin*

Running Appearance worked just fine after that

Thank you for your help :)

Please read comment 6.

You need to uninstall deepin-kwin (and ideally all other deepin packages as
well).

UPDATE - I gave incorrect info before

The issue is NOT specific to one particular user account
But specific to one PC only - PC 1
PC 1 has 2 separate installs of opensuse tumbleweed
The problems exists on any/all user accounts on BOTH OS installs

This problem does not exist at all on PC 2

Both PCs are Intels
PC 1 is from 2021
PC 2 is from 2012

I have created 2 new user accounts - same problem on those accounts as well

Problem Exists under kde plasma X11 and Wayland

Your crash is in the Deepin style. Not KDE related.

Apparently this happens if you try to mix 5.26.5 with 5.27. Make sure you
upgrade everything.
