Unfortunately that wouldn't be accurate. Libinput does provide two methods of
right-clicking with a buttonless touchpad, but you have to choose between them;
you can't activate both at once.

This isn't super obvious, though. We are planning to improve the UI to make the
available options more clear; see Bug 466166 and the mockup posted in there.

What confused me is that on one hand (#460102) it's impossible to right click
both via pressing the bottom-right corner and with a two-finger tap, and on the
other if you want to right click, there seem to be two different ways to do so
(indicated in the screenshot): "Two-finger tap" and 'Press bottom-right
corner".

In the meantime I've moved to Fedora 37 + Plasma 5.27.4, and I can in fact
activate the right click action in both ways mentioned above, with the settings
from the screenshot.

So I have all the functionality I need now, and I just think the language of
the right click option could be clarified by having the "Right click" option
should be only one checkbox, "Right click also by pressing in the bottom-right
corner".

Not sure how they're contradictory; these are separate settings; the backend
Libinput driver lets you independently configure the tap-to-click and touchpad
click settings. What exactly is the issue? Can you clarify?

Sure but let's resolve this issue first.

Just saw the note in bug 460102 about support for both two-finger tap and
clicking the bottom-right corner.

Can someone from the KDE team please make that feature request at
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/libinput/libinput/-/issues?

Not only do they carry much more weight than one of us random users, but their
Gitlab also says, "Due to an influx of spam, we have had to impose restrictions
on new accounts."
