I'll close this bugreport since it's apparently fixed by an upgrade, not worth
spending valuable development time on it as underlying issues area already
reported most likely.

Thanks!

I can't reproduce this. What I tried was to connect a Network Drive (from a
Samba share of a Linux machine) and then linked both the GnuPG Home directory
and kleopatras config directory to that drive.

There was no crash.

What is the target of your redirection and can you tell me more how to set
something like this up?

Also where exactly and how is kleopatra crashing when you just launch it. Does
it show the self test?
The attached error message does not help much it only shows that our Explorer
Plugin can't talk to Kleopatra as Kleo crashed somehwere.

Still setting this to confirmed as there are multiple reports about this.

Just speak for yourself. I even patch plasma5-workspace to get this feature
back (the rendering of favicons in the taskbar got intentionally banned from
code by Eike Hein) because it is "annoying as hell" not to see just with a
glimpse of an eye which of the many browser windows I must have open in
parallel contains which content.

So - just speak for yourself. Other workflows, other priorities. I keep using
konqueror despite all of the flaws of its current state because it is the only
brower doing this.

2018-02-21 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=390551

--- Comment #4 from madc...@atlas.cz ---
Can you try to get us some debugging output? I am unfamiliar with GNOME's
facilities for this but with KDE Apps you can proceed as follows

1. Run "kdebugdialog"
2. Search for "kio_smb" and enable it
3. Run "journalctl -f" as a regular user
4. Launch Dolphin and try to access some of the troublesome shares

Look for output like this in the journal:
úno 21 11:50:08 The-Raza kdeinit5[1306]: kio_smb: Using libsmbclient library
version 4.7.4
úno 21 11:50:08 The-Raza kdeinit5[1306]: kio_smb: Detected broken libsmbclient
version 4.7.4

The log should also contain a more descriptive error message instead of the
rather useless "Internal error".

[dolphin] [Bug 390551] Internal Error when trying to access Samba Shares

2018-02-21 Thread Alois Steindl
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=390551

--- Comment #5 from Alois Steindl  ---
Thanks for the helpful hints.
After trying to open "Samba Shares" within "Network" in dolphin, nautilus or
konquerer, I see several messages in the shell with journalctl:

Feb 21 12:39:25 mch2pc28 /usr/libexec/gdm-x-session[1580]: kioslave: ###
CRASH ## protocol = smb pid = 3487 signal = 11

If I open a samba-share with hostname and sharename, there are no problems,
only the urls smb:// and smb:// (in my case smb://Mechanik2) cause
troubles.
With kind regards
Alois

Once d.close() is called, no errors happen (at least not anymore after today's
commits). However, there's still a gotcha when running stuff from scripter.
Everything that's run in scripter's top-level context will not be deleted when
the script is done.

from krita import *
d = Application.createDocument()
root = d.rootNode()
d.close()

This will close and delete the document created; it will not delete the "root"
object, because the "root" object is in the global Python context and will only
be removed when Krita exits. It will also keep a strong reference to the
document's image's root KisNode, which means that that won't be deleted either
until the Python plugin is unloaded.

The solution for now is to run code in another context, for instance:

from krita import *

def test():
d = Application.createDocument()
root = d.rootNode()
d.close()

test()

2018-02-21 Thread Nate Graham
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=390191

--- Comment #12 from Nate Graham  ---
Important update: this works properly if you've got discover's window maximized
or otherwise very wide, which permits you to see the app list as well as the
app page at the same time. The second search correctly updates the app list, so
if it's visible, there's no bug. But when you're *not* widescreen and can only
see the app page, it fails to replace the app page with the just-updated app
list.

[krita] [Bug 381253] "Edit Shapes Tool" not selecting segments sometimes (krita-4.0.0-prealpha appimage)

2018-02-21 Thread Dmitry Kazakov
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381253

--- Comment #2 from Dmitry Kazakov  ---
Okay, there are two problems:

1) Some segments are not recognized while mouse hovering (due to some maths
problem)
2) The segment is selected, but the outline is not painted because the segment
is out of shape bounds, therefore not updated.

Without huge refactoring notes here [1], I can only fix the first problem :)

  Target Milestone: ---

Tested on Windows nightly build from 2/20/2018. Windows 10.

I was being sloppy doing something and accidentally double clicked "Use
Template" from the new dialog with the first animation template.

Clicking the button once does not crash and it works ok.

Double clicking the button does crash.

This was done on purpose, I didn't want padding around it, it's mostly a pretty

time you hovered over another thumbnail. I've fixed this in the following
