[Haruna] [Bug 446490] Crashes on launch when built from source
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=446490 --- Comment #1 from george fb --- Running `kdesrc-run haruna` works for me (KDE Neon Developer Edition). Don't know what's going on. I get that error when I'm trying to use a new feature from a lib and the version I have installed is older. I'm not even using `longDuration` in my code. What does `readelf -Ws --dyn-syms /home/nate/kde/usr/lib64/qml/org/kde/kirigami.2/libkirigamiplugin.so | grep longDuration` return? > Could there be configuration issue in Haruna's CMake somehow? Fix meson executable - on my system meson is a link to python2-exec $ ls -ld $(which meson) /usr/bin/meson -> ../lib/python-exec/python-exec2 The python2-exec must not be executed directly. - Currently the mesonExecutable is canonicalized, which also resolves symlinks This causes the meson plugin to execute stuff like: $ python2-exec --reconfigure instead of $ meson --reconfigure Fix this by not canonicalizing the mesonExecutable, validity is already checked earlier. [xdg-desktop-portal-kde] [Bug 443251] File dialog doesn't remember its size
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=443251 --- Comment #6 from slartibar...@gmail.com --- well, i tried with google-chrome, chromium-freeworld and edge (beta). The initial file-dialog was small (like 640x480 ... too compressed to be useful). Any resize was ok, but not taken into account for the next download. Then i started firefox, tested the same (and we have other saveAs dialogs, of course). Then back to chrome-based. First noticeable thing: the super small saveas dialog was replaced by a usable one (better sized, but not the same size as the FF one) Playing around with chrome based browsers, selecting images of websites, save image as, resize the dialog (don't save, just quit the dialog). The saveas window keeps its ('usable') size, but does not remeber the previously selected size. Same tests in firefox: saveas, resize, don't save. Repeat on another image. Sizing of the saveas dialog are kept for any new images to be saved Yes, ff and chrome are based on different frameworks (clearly to be seen in the saveas dialog, ff seems to use gtk, chrome qt based dialogs) Still annoying Maybe this is the wrong bugticket here, as you only mentioned 'remember size in FF' in the description. [digikam] [Bug 446458] Tags end up appearing withing another hierarchy where they don't belong
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=446458 --- Comment #11 from Maik Qualmann --- The only change we have that could be a cause is this function: https://invent.kde.org/graphics/digikam/-/blob/master/core/libs/database/tags/tagscache.cpp#L567 The change came from an external developer and also led to the lock problem when writing tags. The change fixed a possible incorrect tags path. See https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=432761#c8 I debugged the function again today and can't think of any mistakes. [kid3] [Bug 446509] Still not working import from discogs (loads nothing)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=446509 --- Comment #1 from Urs Fleisch --- It is not correct that Discogs import is STILL not working. The inherent problem with the Discogs import is that it uses the HTML output from the server by default, and this output changes often, and I have to adapt the Kid3 code accordingly. Since the last release 3.8.7 on June 20, I had to fix the Discogs import twice. You can always get a development snapshot with the latest changes from https://sourceforge.net/projects/kid3/files/kid3/development/, so you should download the current version from there and you will see that Discogs import is working. By the way, there is also a readme.txt in the development folder, where you could see that it is fixed. If you do not want to rely on this shaky HTML import, you can register at Discogs and get an API key. You can than enter this token in the Discogs import dialog and click "Save Settings". Then you will use the JSON import, which is stable. This is documented in the handbook https://docs.kde.org/trunk5/en/kid3/kid3/file-menu.html#import-discogs. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

It wasn't there in early October. I've seen some input related commits, but can't tell which one could be the culprit. I think this bug is CRITICAL -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[KOpeningHours] [Bug 446135] Always open variations
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=446135 David Faure changed: What|Removed |Added CC||fa...@kde.org --- Comment #1 from David Faure --- I'm not completely convinced that "open" should be transformed into 24/7. I think some people write "open" to mean "it's sometimes open" (i.e. as opposed to "closed") but they don't have the information on when exactly it's open. Of course it's OK to interpret it as 24/7 when showing when the place is open (for lack of better information), but I'm not sure that actually transforming it the source information to 24/7 is a good idea. For the other three it makes sense indeed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[systemsettings] [Bug 441417] Monitor layout and dimensions don't match resolution when using scaling
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=441417 --- Comment #12 from Heinz Wiesinger --- I can confirm that the patch fixes the screen resolution reporting in systemsettings. However, the pager issue remains, so that looks like a different bug. Will file a new one for that separately. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[KOpeningHours] [Bug 445786] Remove all-days range
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=445786 --- Comment #1 from David Faure --- You meant "Su" rather than "Sun" in your last example, right? I agree about minimizing unnecessary style changes, that's why we have normalizedExpression() and simplifiedExpression(). But then again, when I see "09:00-17:00" I can't help but wonder if the person actually found out which days the place was open, or if that information is missing. When I see "Mo-Su 09:00-17:00" then I'm reassured that the person found out that it was open every day. So I'm actually in favour of keeping Mo-Su or Su-Mo. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[KOpeningHours] [Bug 445963] weekday of the month
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=445963 --- Comment #1 from David Faure --- Yes, this would be nice. But it's a non-trivial undertaking, to replace a simple bitfield with a list of ranges.
