I.g. if we have the following dir path: ~/A/B/C/D In case you open D dir (from the "Open Folder" dialogue) and try to click at "Open" - it won't work. But in case you open dir C and JUST SELECT dir D (without opening it), then clicking "Open" works as expected! I could replicate the above behavior whilst running the above Python code as well. Inside of your GTK application (aka. Telegram) open any URL by clicking on it 6. Check the weird behavior of your panel (configured in step 1) that pops out at the top (your GTK application window will not cover the panel unless you visit workspace #1 and make a focus on your browser window first) OBSERVED RESULT When you click any URL in step 5, your panel goes on top of all windows in worspace #2. Clicking any window will not bring it up above the panel. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open an archive with ark as root 2. Right click any file/folder and Extract > Extract to... 3. Enable "Preserve paths when extracting" 4. Extract the file/folder 5. Delete entirely the new path you just created 6. Right click the same file and again Extract > Extract to... 7. Disable "Preserve paths when extracting" 8. Extract the file/folder to the same path as per #4 above 9. Even you have deleted the previously extracted items, ark complains "This action will overwrite the destination." OBSERVED RESULT Step #9 above is critical, since ark doesn't follow the new (disabled) setting for "Preserve paths when extracting" with the new extraction. Second issue: in #5 above I deleted the previous extraction, but in #9 it complains about the duplicate destination file that doesn't exist?? EXPECTED RESULT Ark should update its settings from a popup window for each and every extraction individually. Ark should not complain reg. duplicate destination files/folders in case previous files/folders don't exist at the destination path anymore. I guess this is due to extracting into temporary folder first, which may cause this issue, but it's misleading, confusing and not user friendly. Apply the "Locked" label on your (Default) layout. OBSERVED RESULT Observe the semitransparent layer behind the dock (with "Maximum length" arrow on it) - it's still there. When you try to select a text in Notes widget and right click on it, the whole latte-dock completely disappears. It gets weirder when you left-click the Notes widget right after... the whole user experience of latte-dock gets messed up by that bug on my Manjaro KDE/Plasma. Any workaround, or solution for that? STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Select any text in a Notes widget 2. Right click on it 3. Left click on Notes icon OBSERVED RESULT In step 2 the whole panel minimizes. In step 3 it displays the widget with the right-click context menu and then suddenly the whole dock minimizes again! EXPECTED RESULT The dock should not minimize after I click the widget (in steps 2, or 3). My plasma panel doesn't have that visibility setting, so I set it on Auto Hide. When I right-click on a selection within the Notes widget on my plasma panel, the focus on the panel altogether with the widget remains. It doesn't dodge/hide, so the behavior is expected here. However, I've noticed another issue with the plasma panel and Notes, right after you click at e.g. "Copy" from the context menu, the plasma panel with the Notes widget will hide and after you click Notes again, it doesn't appear even if you repeat left-clicking it couple of times... if you are really persistent, it eventually/randomly appears again. Surprisingly, after I did it a few more times, it worked as it should. It's not consistent, so I'm not sure if you could replicate this issue on your end, but it definitely seems odd. Maybe it's related with the following issue I've noticed: Within your Dock Settings untick "Show title tooltips" and set "Zoom on hover" to 0% to kill the parallax effect and then click Close. Now go to Dock Settings again and just switch to Panel, then go back to Dock mode. Check your previous settings "Show title tooltips" and "Zoom on hover". If users want that default dock experience, they should use the Default button instead, way more straight forward. As a temporary fix, I would propose at least bringing a warning popup right before switching to different modes e.g. "The dock settings have been modified. Switching to panel mode will reset your previous changes to the default values! [Cancel] [Ok]". Currently I am forced to remove the tick at "Show title tooltips" and a parallax effect as a workaround, since it's impossible to use the Notes widget with those settings enabled, so users in the same situation are probably not interested to a forceful/silent "default dock experience" for obvious reasons. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
