At this time i'm afraid there is nothing to validate the syntax of the files pushed to the repository. It will however skip any file that is invalid format wise when generating the rules for use by procmail. > > > Regards, > > Kåre Thanks, Ben > > > > > > Cheers, > > > > > > > > Albert > > > > > > Cheers, > > > Ben > > > > > > > > Thanks, > > > > > Ben Cooksley > > > > > KDE Sysadmin > > >

I suggest to start here: https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved If you indeed want to help with C++ coding, your first steps would be to learn Qt and how to compile KDE applications. If you are familiar with Java's Swing, then Qt will be very easy to learn. https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/development Please also set a subject next time you a writing a mail. Christoph Feck

Go right ahead! Here's a good starting point for you: https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/development If you're short on ideas, maybe look through https://kde.org/jj Nate On 7/14/20 4:47 PM, Ayush Kundu (RA1811035010045) wrote: Hello there, this is Ayush from Calcutta, India and currently I'm pursuing my Bachelors in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. For an introduction on how to contribute to KDE please see this page: https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved Are you perchance referring to participating in the KDE GSoC (= https://community.kde.org/GSoC )? This will work better if you join the list (I think you didn't join this one) and then read some of the discussion from the past month or two. We make a huge variety of software, from small command line apps and our frameworks (libraries), applications from small games to big video and music players, and of course Plasma. Some prefer to work deep in the stack and others on UI/UX. Use our software for awhile, try fixing some bugs you find, and see where your interests are. Welcome to the KDE community!
