it seems that the visibility of this Phabricator Task is very limited,
e.g. I can't view it, it says: "You Shall Not Pass: Restricted Maniphest
Task"

Can you open up the visibility of the task a bit more?

I want to remind anyone to keep this discussion civil.

No one is comparing RMS to a Nazi and especially is this letter
definitly not treating him worse.

And misgendering someone is not the latest left libertarian trend, if
you do it on purpose (I don't know much what RMS did) then it is just
disrespectfull.

@keziolio123: Such a horrible comparison you are making, please keep
your next mails to this mailinglist. Nazi comparisons dont have any
place on this list or in KDE.

the invitation comes from the local official student representation of
TU Wien. It will only say that it covers accomodation if KDE eV sponsors
your travel.

If you are from a country that needs a VISA for Schengen and doesn't
give out tourist visas without much hassle and you think an invitation
letter might help you then this information about "how to get an invite
letter" may be relevant to you.

8 months sound like a good timeframe to adapt to the move to this
fantastic stable product. I think we should already plan a big "KDE now
uses SCCS"-party on that day.

thanks for creating it, I've added Vienna to the list.

I hope that many KDE people from Vienna/Austria and maybe also
neighbouring countries join :)

@KDE AT: Even though mid of october is still far away, I hope some of
you join me. And I would need someone to help me organize this
(including reminding me to organize & promote it :) ).

My plan would be: Meeting/Party on Friday evening and another event on
Saturday afternoon or so.
What other event? Some ideas:
* Hack day?
* C++/Qt/KDE Frameworks Workshop for Beginners/Language Switchers?
* Qt/KDE Frameworks "Help Desk"?
* KDE Install Party?

thanks Sebas for forwarding the Mail. Would be a really good idea to be
represented with some talks @ LinuxWochen Wien, I forwarded the mail to
the kde-at mailinglist, let's hope there are some interested people to
submit proposals and maybe also someone to help me with organize a booth
there (would be a pitty if KDE isn't represented if they already contact

 We also need to help a bit at the conference. The last couple of years it has
 been session chairing a bit, and moving a stack of chairs.

I would be interested in helping out at the conference and getting a

think I can show people Plasma Desktop and help out at the conference.
