Re: Party Train to Akademy

2019-06-28 Thread Boudhayan Gupta
Hi,

I'm taking the Swiss Railways ECE that runs from Frankfurt to Milano
Centrale. Departs FF(M) Hbf at 08:01, and I'll get on at Mannheim at 08:46
AM. Stops at Karlsruhe, Baden-Baden, Basel amongst other places, arrives
Milano Centrale at 15:50. Added notes on the page anyway, if someone wants
to make this a party train too.

If no one joins this and there's a bunch of people joining Jonathan's train
I might be tempted to just pop over to Paris and take that one though.

Thanks,
Boudhayan

Oooo, what a lovely idea! I'm already booked on the TGV though, since I'm
arriving in Paris on Monday to spend a couple of days with a genealogy and
anthropology friend.

Taking the Paris Gare Lyon/Milano P Garibal on 5 September at 10:37
(Thursday morning) Paris time. I put myself in the notes anyway, although
the tickets are already booked.

Party Train to Akademy

2019-06-27 Thread Jonathan Riddell
Me and Dan would like to take the train to Akademy from London via Paris,
it's a full day's travel but about the same cost as flying, much better for
your carbon footprint, much better views and none of the faffy and
expensive getting to and from airports to sit around for hours.

If you'd like in to the booking let me know, either joining at London or at
Paris
