[kde-freebsd] two kde3 errors when shutting down kde4
I have been seeing a couple errors spit out when I exit kde4, complaining that kde3 is not found. I looked at /usr/local/kde4/bin/startkde4 (which is linked to startkde), and found two lines beginning with kde3 (shutting down cop, etc). I'm thinking that the port maintainer should have removed these two lines... I'm running kde 4.3.4 on FreeBSD 7.2-RELEASE-p5 ___ kde-freebsd mailing list kde-freebsd@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-freebsd See also http://freebsd.kde.org/ for latest information

Just for those who may have an Qt env, but without KDE, I would like for there to be a choice. I would not want somebody to be forced to build the kde-phonon, if qt4-phonon meets their needs. I have a test env that describes this exact scenario, and I suspect there are more like me. :) Thomas - -- Thomas Abthorpe | FreeBSD Committer tabtho...@freebsd.org | http://people.freebsd.org/~tabthorpe -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v2.0.13 (FreeBSD) iEYEARECAAYFAksdnyMACgkQ5Gm/jNBp8qDh2wCcClBDb+VHSMcu9n5G9zSSbQJr C6kAn0toHxk8PjUZr1v+j0AV2Utyy8PN =UT6r -END PGP SIGNATURE- ___ kde-freebsd mailing list kde-freebsd@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-freebsd See also http://freebsd.kde.org/ for latest information
[kde-freebsd] KDE packaged and split ?
Hallo, I've come across this: http://www.archlinux.org/news/455/ Could something similar be implemented in our case ? KDE compilation is quite lengthy and I've found myself a few times in a situation when I had to bring in another big KDE part/package when I needed one program of it only.
