https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=208598 --- Comment #4 from Stephen Hurd--- Heh, I think we have differing opinions of what constitutes "very simple". Anyway, I'll give it a shot, but I expect it to spin and/or stagnate in the Gerrit review. I'm always happy to be proven wrong though. [kde-freebsd] [Bug 208598] multimedia/qt5-multimedia: ALSA QAudioInput::suspend() doesn't suspend
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=208598 --- Comment #3 from Raphael Kubo da Costa--- The process is actually very simple; don't be put off by that bug report, that usually happens when people send patches through their bug tracker because they cannot accept those due to their use of a Contributor License Agreement (all patches must be sent through Gerrit). I can summarize the whole process in a few steps (most of it is just your usual Gerrit setup workflow): 1. Create an account in Qt's bug tracker (http://bugreports.qt.io) 2. Log into Gerrit with the same credentials and set up your name, SSH key etc (http://codereview.qt-project.org/#settings,contact) 3. Accept Qt's CLA. 4. git clone git://code.qt.io/qt/qtmultimedia.git 5. cd qtmultimedia 6. git remote add gerrit ssh://usern...@codereview.qt-project.org:29418/qt/qtmultimedia.git 7. scp -P 29418 usern...@codereview.qt-project.org:hooks/commit-msg .git/hooks 8. git fetch gerrit 9. git checkout -b my-work-branch 10. hack hack hack, commit 11. git push gerrit my-work-branch:refs/for/5.6 12. Go to the URL that's shown to you 13. CC relevant people. You can also CC me there. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ kde-freebsd mailing list kde-freebsd@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-freebsd See also http://freebsd.kde.org/ for latest information

[kde-freebsd] [Bug 203222] graphics/digikam-kde4: missing dependency on kde4-runtime
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=203222 --- Comment #1 from commit-h...@freebsd.org --- A commit references this bug: Author: rakuco Date: Thu Apr 14 19:06:41 UTC 2016 New revision: 413310 URL: https://svnweb.freebsd.org/changeset/ports/413310 Log: Update DigiKam and related ports to 4.14.0. This is a huge leap, as we are moving from 4.2.0 (released in August 2014) to 4.14.0 (released in October 2015). Version 4.14.0 is the last KDE4-based release, and 5.0.0 will be based on KDE Frameworks 5. Noteworthy port changes: - Most patches in graphics/digikam-kde4 are no longer necessary. - graphics/kipi-plugin-googledrive and graphics/kipi-plugin-picasaweb have been merged into graphics/kipi-plugin-googleservices following what upstream did to those plugins. - astro/libkgeomap and graphics/libkface are no longer included in the DigiKam tarball and are now completely independent ports whose tarballs are released as part of KDE Applications. - net/libmediawiki is neither included in the DigiKam tarball nor released as a separate tarball, so we had to resort to fetching it from an older DigiKam release which contains it. - graphics/digikam-kde4 now has a runtime dependency on x11/kde4-runtime. See bug 203222 for details. A lot of people have contributed to this update over the years in our experimental area51 repository. Tobias Berner (our usual suspect), Adriaan de Groot, makc@, alonso@ and jhale@ at the very least. https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=208570 --- Comment #4 from Raphael Kubo da Costa--- OK. In any case, I think the best course of action is to submit it upstream via Gerrit (see https://wiki.qt.io/Qt_Contribution_Guidelines and https://wiki.qt.io/Gerrit_Introduction) so that the Qt folks can take a look at this and also make check if it works fine on Linux. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ kde-freebsd mailing list kde-freebsd@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-freebsd See also http://freebsd.kde.org/ for latest information
[kde-freebsd] [Bug 208598] multimedia/qt5-multimedia: ALSA QAudioInput::suspend() doesn't suspend
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=208598 --- Comment #2 from Stephen Hurd--- A similar patch should likely be made to the output path as well, though IIRC, ALSA will automatically stop (with an error) when it overruns the buffers. As for upstremaing it myself, that process combined with the fact that I'm not a C++ developer and how quickly they were to mark your bug report as invalid is very off-putting. I should be able give it a couple hours this weekend, but from the process description it'll take considerably more than that (especially given that I won't be testing on Linux). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ kde-freebsd mailing list kde-freebsd@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-freebsd See also http://freebsd.kde.org/ for latest information

SVN commit 12318 by rakuco: Bump KDE_APPLICATIONS_VERSION to 15.04.3. This is the latest 15.04.x release, and there is no reason why not use it instead of 15.04.2. In practice, this is a no-op in trunk at the moment: astro/libkgeomap and graphics/libkface are the only ports using KDE_APPLICATIONS_VERSION to set PORTVERSION, and there are no new commits in both repositories between 15.04.2 and 15.04.3.
