Re: [kde-freebsd] Request for approval - Support off-source builds in bsd.cmake.mk
Pietro Cerutti píše v út 02. 03. 2010 v 12:34 +0100: I would like to commit the attached patch [1], that allows a port using cmake to define the CMAKE_OFFSOURCE variable and have the cmake framework build the port out of source [2]. While this changes applies to Mk/, I don't see this as a sweeping commit, since the default behavior remains unchanged, unless a port explicitely sets the variable CMAKE_OFFSOURCE. Any objection? Re: [kde-freebsd] parallelizing the build of Qt, etc.
Mikhail T. píše v st 22. 08. 2007 v 12:48 -0400: The mini-patch below scales the build of the Qt port to the number of available processes. I think, it should be put in while the portmgr is debating/devising a more general solution -- something may be needed to accomodate machines, where multiple such ports may be built in parallel -- such as in their own jails. Qt33 is known to bomb with -j2. Seen it when I was toying with my implementation of parallelization framework. I'd also advise against springing ugly constructs like `${SYSCTL}` around the tree. -- Pav Lucistnik [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Every man is as God made him, ay, and often worse. -- Miguel de Cervantes signature.asc Description: Toto je digitálně podepsaná část zprávy ___ kde-freebsd mailing list kde-freebsd@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-freebsd

Maybe, you were modifying the MAKE_ARGS and it was bombing during install (MAKE_ARGS applies to both build and install)? I'm sure it was failing in build phase. -- Pav Lucistnik [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Said Helvetica Narrow to Helvetica Bold: Hey, you're just my type. signature.asc Description: Toto je digitálně podepsaná část zprávy ___ kde-freebsd mailing list kde-freebsd@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-freebsd
