If you are using KDE Applications 18.x you no longer require the localization packets for localization -- they are included in the application ports themselves, and therefore conflict with the kde4 localization packets. I have a review open to make the conflicts explicit -- excluding the files does not make any sense. [3/4] Installing fr-kde-l10n-4.14.3_3... pkg: fr-kde-l10n-4.14.3_3 conflicts with libkcddb-18.04.1 (installs files into the same place). Problematic file: /usr/local/share/locale/fr/LC_MESSAGES/kcmcddb.mo I have checked for other languages, and we get the same error, it is not specific to french language. Defining a CONFLICTS variable is not a good solution.
