Dear kdenlive-team,

in my opinion the crossfade is solved very badly in kdenlive! In most
video editors you can do it by dragging the objects over another and I
really miss that feature in kdenlive. There you always have to put the
objects above and beneath another and when you do bigger video
projects, that‘s very laborious. So I would be very pleased, if
kdenlive would also support that feature.

Yours sincerely,

I support this. Cross fade is pretty often used and could be simpler

thanks

I might be wrong, but this is already implemented. Please read an official

AFAIK, overwrite mode is just what it say: the right part replace the
left one, no crossfade :-(

Hi,

I might be wrong, but this is already implemented. Please read an official
manual to Kdenlive on our wiki.

https://userbase.kde.org/Kdenlive/Manual/Timeline/Editing#Timeline_Edit_Mode_-_Overwrite_Mode

Hope this helps.

Best regards,
Yuri
