When I create a task from an email the email is attached to the task and you

close kontact. When you close and reopen it all tasks from mails only contain

Version: 1.2.50 (using KDE 4.0.83)

After I added the Akregator component for the KDE4 version of Kontact, I had
problems. I can use the Akregator pane just fine. I can add feeds, modify the
folders, all that stuff. But, when I actually try to read the feed, it crashes.

The backtrace output:

"no debugging symbols found" means that the backtrace is not useful. If you can
reproduce the crash, you should install the debug enabled packages before
providing again the backtrace. Read this page for the instructions:

SVN commit 827296 by ereslibre:

Set shortcuts as we had on 3.5 kontact version. Plug in the list on the
navigation toolbar. Some comments:

* We need to set proper shortcuts. With 11 plugins in sidebar, we would run out
of shortcuts.
* If unloading a plugin, and later reloading it will make the newly plugin have
count() + 1 shortcut, without mattering the weight of the plugin. This needs to
be improved.

I started using Kubuntu 7.04 in about April 2008 and was delighted with
Kontact.  In particular I found it great for moving sent items from my
Fastmail account (IMAP) to the local folders maintained by Kontact.  I could
just drag and drop.  However, now when I try to do this, I crash contact
every time.  This is a big concern, as I want to keep my sent mail, but
Fastmail has a v.limited file storage capacity.

The error I get is as attached.  The backtrace is pasted below.  I'd be
delighted to receive a fix, but don't ask me to do anything too complicated
as I really am a newbie to linux.

My local folder's Sent Items is now showing 71.9 MB - I'm wondering if that's
too big and what the location is in case I want to store some of this
somewhere else.  I also want to back this file up, as I want to install
Kubuntu 8.04, but only have the live disk, not the alternative CD.

[Bug 165248] Naming "Action Item" vs "ToDo"

Ok, IMHO it is not a problem to call it "Action Item", but the status-filtering
should use this naming, too. (Or has it been changed already to "Action Item"?)

Only one thing with "Action Item": When I had read this the first time, I
thought it would be something very special for e.g. scripting kmail by perhaps
triggering an event or something. So it sounds like it would be more than just
a tag. But this might only be a minor problem.

Hello,
I think the I/F with kwallet (in this version, previously - up to SUSE 10.3 it
was OK) has a problem.

1.) I use to identities for sending.
One is OK.
The other ones it seems that the password is not read fronm the wallet.

2.) When sending the mails are not send but are stored in the send folder.
Starting setting
kmail einrichten
Zugaenge / senden
(or a similar name)
closing this and selst 'sending outgoing queued mails'
works. But this is a workaround.
