The Desktop is offline -KDE 3.5.9 release 49.1 opensuse 10.11
Hello, No way to get mails from main user neither from test-purposes created users. Nevertheless, it works fine from root and a secondary user. Were it doesn't work, there is a tooltip beneath right of the Kmail window : a plug. When the mouse is above it, it writes : the Desktop is offline. Under root and the secondary user that works, there is no plug icon there. This occured when update openSUSE from 10.2 to 11.0. My network is based upon ifup, not networkmanagement in YastNetwork DevicesNetwork SettingsGlobal OptionsTrditional Method with ifup. Anyway, trying with User Controlled with NetworkManager doesn't change the situation. Tried to compare some files (for example knetworkmanagerrc) between the user which works and those which do not work, hopeless. What is the files which defines this behaviour for each user ???
