[Bug 197340] Too Many Recipients failure to send message

2009-08-24 Thread Jaime Torres
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=197340

--- Comment #4 from Jaime Torres jtamate gmail com 2009-08-24 08:41:48 ---
There are, at least, two ways of send a reply to all to an SMTP server:
* Send SMTP cc: comands (opensource mail programs way) (less work for the SMTP
server)
* Put mime cc: headers (privative mail programs way) (more work for the SMTP
server)

I guess your SMTP server is also privative and it is not able to handle the
standard in its full extension.

[Bug 202844] mixed languaged when started with KDE_LANG set

There is another (working for me) way to start a kde 4 program in another
language (without the need for the environment variable). It is using the menu
help|change application language.

Hm...

 Removed Product knode
 Added Product kdepimlibs

Are you sure ? KMail has another behavour:

1. When the view attachment is smart is selected a file name displayed if
koi8-r used and not displayed if utf8. But external viewer running correctly.

2. When the view attachment is inline is selected a file name displayed
correctly in both cases.

@Thomas: tnx! How close are we to fixing this whole bugreport?

Well, this bug is a mix of many different issues, so I can't really say. Since
most of those issues are reported elsewhere, let's close this bug.

As I said, linebreaks work fine, although p is still used instead of br.

I recently added quote coloring for HTML mails to the reader widget (in KDE
4.4), so that is also fixed.

2009-08-24 Thread ben chang
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=204985

Summary: Kontact crash; kio-http won't start
   Product: kontact
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: bch...@artic.edu

Version: 4.3.0-0ubuntu1~jaunty1~ppa2 (using KDE 4.2.4)
OS:Linux
Installed from:Ubuntu Packages

I'm not sure what triggered this crash exactly. The reporting assistant thinks
it's helpful, though, so here it is :) kio-http doesn't launch anymore, so I
had to enter it manually.

I think it is because I am on Ubuntu Jaunty, had the kubuntu-ppa backports
repository in my sources, and it recommended upgrading kontact from 4.2.4 to
4.3. I don't think it upgraded the rest of KDE, though, so that is probably
the cause, not an actual bug. Here's the report anyway in case I'm mistaken:

[Bug 205012] New: Go-Next Unread Message Doesn't Move to Another Folder

2009-08-24 Thread Garry Williams
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=205012

Summary: Go-Next Unread Message Doesn't Move to Another Folder
   Product: kmail
   Version: 1.12.0
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: gtwilli...@gmail.com

Version: 1.12.0 (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS:Linux
Installed from:Fedora RPMs

The Go-Next Unread Message does nothing when the next unread message is in
another folder.

This is new behaviour -- it used to loop through all folders.

Additional information:

kdepim-runtime-4.3.0-1.fc11.i586
kdepim-runtime-libs-4.3.0-1.fc11.i586
kdepim-4.3.0-4.fc11.i586

kdepimlibs-4.3.0-2.fc11.i586
kdepim-libs-4.3.0-4.fc11.i586

All folders in question have Act on new/unread mailin this folder checked.

Partial contents of ~/.kde/share/config/kmailrc:

[Behaviour]
ActionEnterFolder=SelectLastSelected
ExcludeImportantMailFromExpiry=false

   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Debian testing
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist

ReportedBy: bugzi...@kerridis.de

Version:(using KDE 4.3.0)
OS:Linux
Installed from:Debian testing/unstable Packages

When I fetch mail I get a dialog where I can either choose to download the
mail/s now, later or delete it/them from the server without downloading. The
icons for downloading the mails now and downloading them later are the same. In
Kmail of KDE3 they were different which was a lot better, green for now, yellow
for later and red for delete. Can you please change the middle later icon to
something else that also differs in color from the other two options?

[Bug 205018] New: columns for download now/later/delete in mail fetching dialog are too narrow when icons bigger than 16x16

2009-08-24 Thread Janet
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=205018

Summary: columns for download now/later/delete in mail fetching
dialog are too narrow when icons bigger than 16x16
   Product: kmail
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Debian testing
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: bugzi...@kerridis.de

Version:(using KDE 4.3.0)
OS:Linux
Installed from:Debian testing/unstable Packages

Now that the icons in the mail fetching dialog (filtered mails) follow the
small icons settings the columns for the icons are too narrow. The columns are
design for icons in size 16x16 and are fix in width so with small icons larger
than 16x16 the icons get cut. Can you please make the width of the columns
adjust to the width of the icons?

Well, seems you should fix your installation first. Your kdelibs is too old

you must *at least* have kdelibs / kdepimlibs / kdepim 4.3.0.

Please fix that first and reopen the bug report if you're able to reproduce
this crash.

[Bug 205033] New: not retrieving email from pop3 server

2009-08-24 Thread intel4004u+kdebug
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=205033

Summary: not retrieving email from pop3 server
   Product: kmail
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: intel4004u+kde...@gmail.com

Version:(using KDE 4.3.0)
OS:Linux
Installed from:Ubuntu Packages

Okay here goes pls bear with me as I am a Linux novice. I have installed the
Kontact package in Ubuntu 8.04.

Ubuntu 8.04 (tried 9.04 and didn't get on with it)
Kontact Rel 3.5.10
Kmail Rel 1.9.10

In my synaptic package manager which I used to download and install kontact its
telling me I've got the latest version and lists it as 4:3.5.10, anyone know
what the prefixed 4 is for, am assuming this means I've actually got 3.5.10
installed. When i originally tried to file this bug it wouldn't let me when i
stated I was using a version earlier than 4. But when i go to the Stable
version Getting KDE page and select the 4.3 link there are no choices for
Ubuntu.

There is kubuntu 9.0.4 but I don't believe I can use this or the Debian
packages (which are stated as being unstable!!). What do I do as I seem to be
in a bind?

Or do I just give up and use thunderbird.

The problem I am having is suddenly kmail is not downloading from my Gmail
account any new emails which come in. It seemed to be working fine a few days
ago. There are no error messages it just reports there was nothing to download
yet when I log into gmail there are unread emails which have just arrived!!!

A bit off topic, but with nine (9) duplicates, it's slightly embarrassing to
consider this as UNCONFIRMED.
