Drag'n'drop does not work in my case. Dragging between other folders does not
do anything and dragging ON another folder make it the sub-folder of that
another folder.

[Bug 283513] New: list of IMAP folders out of sync

2011-10-07 Thread Silver Salonen
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=283513

Summary: list of IMAP folders out of sync
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.7
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: folders
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: silver.salo...@gmail.com

Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.1)
OS:Linux

I did not use KMail for a while now and I've re-organized my IMAP-folders a
bit. I thought I'd try KMail again, but now KMail shows my IMAP-account's
folders out-of-sync - folders I've moved under some other folders are still in
their original place and not where they are supposed to be etc. When I check
the account's serverside subscription, it shows correct list there, but well..
how can I get THAT list to be reflected in the folder list?

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
Manage IMAP-account's folders from another application and see whether KMail
will show the updates.

Actual Results:
KMail's folder list goes out of sync

Expected Results:
KMail folder list should be updated to the current state of the IMAP account

Sorry, KMail 1.x bugs won't be reopened as there is noone maintaining it
anymore.

[Bug 283505] Akonadi-googledata crash on start

John, we didn't see any fix from the maintainer during the last two years. It
may be wise to offer the akonadi-google resource to your distribution instead
(despite being quite recent, it was reported to work much better already)

As for this crash, in its current state it doesn't help. You can try to run the
resource in gdb and set a catchpoint to get a useful backtrace

(either using 'catch throw' or adding a breakpoint to _cxa_rethrow)

bt of akonadi-google

Ok i'm attaching here the akonadi-google crash (because this bug is already
report from the « small bt i get from Dr Konqui it seems similar in most part
of the akonadi-googledata crash )
I did attached gdb via a gdb --pid to the
/usr/bin/akonadi_googlecontacts_resource use the catch throw command in gdb
(i'm not really used to gdb so maybe there's something more to do)
i also put the bt full result in case of.
Is there anyway to get a more useful bt ? (i think only about attaching to the
pid via a gdb --pid but i'm might be wrong)

Regards

Message preview bubble displays with incorrect charset

Confirming this very bug is present in Ubuntu Oneiric Beta 2, latest updates
installed on 2011/10/07, as described here : « Non-ASCII characters are
displayed incorrectly in the tooltip message preview. » (see attached image,
some personal information manually blurred) - seen on 2 different machines
today.

Charset displayed incorrectly for accentuated chars in the message contents,
but OK in subject and other parts of the preview bubble.

--- Comment #14 from Elias Probst mail eliasprobst eu 2011-10-07 13:13:16 ---
(In reply to comment #13)
Confirming this very bug is present in Ubuntu Oneiric Beta 2, latest updates
 installed on 2011/10/07,...
Which version of Virtuoso is provided by the latest Ubuntu updates?

Virtuoso 6.1.2 works
Virtuoso 6.1.3 doesn't work
Virtuoso 6.1.3 + this patch works:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=271664#c13

If Ubuntu ships only 6.1.3 without the patch, it is very important to open a
bug in Launchpad, to make sure either 6.1.2 or 6.1.3 + patch is shipped with
Ubuntu.
Otherwise it might break a lot of things (this doesn't only cause the KMail
issue described here).

[Bug 283548] New: Only first filter in chain works for incoming messages

2011-10-07 Thread Andrew Gaydenko
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=283548

Summary: Only first filter in chain works for incoming messages
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.7
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: filtering
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: a...@gaydenko.com

Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.1)
OS:Linux

It is for 4.7.2, but selection list hasn't this version.

I didn't use filtering with 4.7.1 because of conflict resolution dialog lock
up bug which is fixed in 4.7.2. So I have tried to use filtering now - in fact
it is just bogofilter antispam filtering.

Manual filtering does work as expected (Apply All Filters in context menu). But
it doesn't work for incoming messages. I have tried:

- all except for IMAP
- all POP3 accounts only
- Local Folders only

The problem doesn't depend on POP3 destination folder (dedicated one or default
inbox folder).

The first phase - piping through bogofilter - does work for incoming messages
as expected. But the second filter - spam handling itself (checking for
X-Bogosity and moving spam to dedicated folder) - works in manual mode only.
Piping filter hasn't stop processing here flag checked, of course.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Spam yourself.

Actual Results:
The spam message isn't moved to spam folder.

Expected Results:
The spam message is moved to spam folder.

[Bug 283563] New: KMail2 migration failed

2011-10-07 Thread nucleo
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=283563

   Summary: KMail2 migration failed
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: nuc...@fedoraproject.org

Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.7.1)
OS:Linux

Migration in Kmail2 failed After update from KDE 4.6.5 to 4.7.1.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Actual Results:
When Kmail2 started first time after update there was error message about
failed migration and that need to run kmail-migrator --interactive manually.

But when running kmail-migrator --interactive I got error message:
Migration of kmailrc has already run, not running it again

I restored backup of ~/.kde and figured out that if run kmail-migrator
--interactive before first start Kmail2 then migration will be successful.
But if Kmail2 started first then migration will be failed.

Expected Results:
Migration should work when starting Kmail2.

I still see this bug with KMail 1.13.6 (KDE 4.6.5 on KUbuntu 11.04). I can see
the attachment when I view the message as source, and the entire message saves
fine (I'll attach it to the bug afterwards), but the attachment saves with zero
length. The same attachment saves fine with pine.

The original message was on IMAP, FWIW.

--- Comment #35 from Davor Cubranic cubranic acm org 2011-10-07 22:49:12 ---
Interestingly, when I used Kmail File-Open menu to open the .mbox file I
attached above, the attachment saves correctly. It could be some kind of
interaction of the format of the message and the IMAP server where it was
stored originally.

Still, this also shows that KMail had the full contents of the message but for
some reason could not save the attachment correctly.
